A New Way to Sail with Piratas do Amor
For years, we have sailed oceans, lived aboard boats and served as crew on vessels large and small.
Now we are returning to the essence.
Closer to the water. Closer to nature. Closer to each other.
This season, we are launching Flotita Bonita Expeditions, our most intimate expedition yet: one week aboard Polynesian voyaging canoes along the wild coast of Bahia.

We sail through mangroves, rivers and open ocean. We fish and forage, gather oysters at low tide and cook over fire We sleep in hammocks beneath the stars, shower with coconut water and let wind, weather and tides shape our days.
There are no passengers. Only crew.
Everyone sails, paddles, cooks, makes camp and brings something of their own to the voyage.
It is simple. Sometimes uncomfortable. Often beautiful.
And that is the point.
Somewhere along the way, nature became a place we go to. Something outside of us.
Flotita Bonita is an invitation to come close enough to remember we were never separate from it.
Our first season begins this November and December, with just two guests aboard Pira Veve. We find the right dates together.
Then in February, Teko Porã joins the flotilla for two fixed expeditions with five guests aboard the two canoes.
This little fleet is such a big deal to us, we decided it deserved a page of its own. ;-)
Have a look, dream a little, and maybe come sail with us.
